Customer questions & answers
Question: Can this be used as a part-time guest house? Just wondering about about the stability of the roof?
Answer: Many customers actually use this as a guest house but it would not be the first choice in regions with heavy snow loads. That plexiglass on the roof comes with surprisingly decent load bearing strength though.
Question: Solar powered? Bathroom weather proof?
Answer: You can add solar power components after-during the assembly of the cabin. There is no bathroom because this is a cabin K-I-T, not an assembled cabin.
Question: What is the snow load capacity? What is the additional cost for dual pane windows?
Answer: Due to the polycarbonate part of the roof, this model does not have a snowload rating. Summerlight does not have other window type options.
Question: How tall is he door?
Answer: 73-5/8"
Question: Can this be assembled for temporary use (12 months), then taken apart and relocated to another location?
Answer: It is possible but most likely some of the shingles may need to be replaced and the floor probably needs to be sanded after re-installing it.
Question: Can you see through the plexiglass on the roof?
Answer: The plexiglass is intended to allow sunlight coming inside tha structure but it is not a window, per se.
