Answer:No. You should change it every 6 months. You put a clarifier table in when you add or change the water.
Question:How many gallons of water does the tank need? Does it call for distilled water?
Answer:You will need approximately 4 gallons of water to fill the water tank. Distilled water isn't necessary as you are suppose to add purification tablets.
